Beleive or not, I have been invited to do a Cell Popping Workshop in North Carolina. It just occured to me this is in the bible belt. I just think that is too ironic lol. My first travelling experience to do a workshop in…is in an ultra conservative religious state haha.
.
So if you are in Raleigh, NC on January 30th 2010 make sure to attend my workshop at La Fortress.

More detaisl to come in due time!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
NC is NOT ultra conservative. So sorry. There are places in Kalifornia (Karlfornia) that are more conservative than NC. You would probably feel really comfortable in a place that is ‘ultra conservative.’ It’s not at all what you envision.
Ok perhaps ultra conservative is a bit harsh. And I have been in NC…I drove from my hometown of Montreal Quebec to New Orleans through the bible belt and back. Totally agree one on one the people do not give that impression and what I wrote can tend to be misinterpreted.
But from my libertine town’s perspective, driving through litlle towns with a church on every corner, a bible bookstore on every 3 corners, a religious radio station per town and a billboard on the highway saying ‘Come epent all ye sinners’…for me…that is foreign territory. And this is what I noticed with my own eyes.
Fair enough! I live in a pretty darned conservative place, and it seems that (ahem) less conservative people that I interact with in other places predictably have some odd misconceptions of what it must be like. I certainly didn’t mean to assume, but that’s apparently what I did.
