Aslan Silicone Ball Gag

Finally I can really sink my teeth into this review graciously made possible by Babeland.com, a women-friendly place to buy sex toys and vibrators.

I was actually really excited to receive this Silicone Ball Gag as I do have a couple, some bought some homemade, but they mostly suck….except the horse bit, love that one! But I find overall the quality of ball gags found in sex shop are of very poor quality and design. But since this is a Alsan Leather product I knew it would not disappoint. And for me the best part about Alsan Leather is that it is a Canadian company! I am very proud of that.

But I digress, back the the Aslan Silicone Ball Gag. As soon as I took it out of its wrapping I knew I was going to love it. The quality of the materials is outstanding. The leather strap is made of lovely top quality supple leather. The closure is a buckle, like a belt and it comes with 7 punched holes allowing you to adjust it between 16 and 22 inches, so you can get a pretty snug and accurate fit. So its a good size for most. The part that hits the outside of the jaw was also designed for comfort with a small D ring placed on the outside. It makes it look nice to when there is a touch of metal. The center leather strap part is held in place with snaps that you can open and close (we’ll see why later).

Finally the mouth piece is a nicely size 1.75 inch silicone ball. Not sure why Babeland.com wrote 2 inches, its not, its a manageable size at 1.75. I would like to note though that this is not a one size fits all. There are smaller gag balls out there which may be better for a beginner. But even a beginner could wear this ball gag a good 10 min before the jaw begs for relief. The ball is made of silicone which is a quality material. I find the density of the ball to be perfect. its not to hard nor to soft. I also tried biting into this thing as hard as I could and I was unable to leave even a dent in the ball.

Bench test: Well I tried it quickly and found it comfortable. But the true expert here to give a review is my sub muzhik. I put it on him at a public event. It was actually his first experience with a ball gag. he did find it very comfortable and I made him wear it oh I guess a good 30 min. At one point he made a sign to remove it because he was having saliva swallowing issues but I don’t think it had anything to do with the ball gaga itself, rather his inexperience with one. I put it back on again and the issue did not come back up again…I guess he figured out how to swallow…HA! So it got a thumbs up from him. I am a big fan of sensory deprivation so I loved using it on him. I also had a blindfold and a lovely Shibari bondage thing going on there he he.

Finally a word on care and maintenance. As I said before the center leather strap part is held in place with snaps that you can open and close. This means the silicone ball is removable so you can boil it for disinfection. The ball is made of silicone making it fully sterilizable and non porous. It can be boiled for about 3 minutes in a pot of hot water and will be free of bacteria. This means you can safely share this gag with others. Of course you can also just wash is with antibacterial soap and warm water if used by only one person in between usage. The straps can be cleaned by massaging a small amount of antibacterial soap into the leather with a wet washcloth and remove the soap with the rinsed out wash cloth. Pat and let dry thoroughly. Do not ever put the straps in the water though.
