Before I start you may have noticed I have been posting loads of toy reviews. Sorry about that I have been lagging behind due to a health issue but things are getting better. Just a warning, not a post for the faint at heart with needles and blood! But today I have a special post, its about scary needles! I have had a fear of needles most of my life. My first needle moment of terror was when I was 5 just before kindergarten when you get a shot before starting school. I remember running away from the doc onto my mother’s lap expecting to be protected and she held me while the doc injected me while on her lap. To this day I jokingly remind her of that episode where I was marked for life. Ever since then any blood tests, booster and tetanus shots, 2 serum infusions and dentist injections have brought on fear. Once in my life I tried to give blood and almost fainted and had to have the tube removed immediately.
So then I come on to the BDSM scene and I find out about needle play. NO WAY not for me ever. Then time passes and I get more and more into edge play education. Then I meet my piercer Pat Pierce and have him pierce my nipples with great amounts of courage. Pat and I became friends and we organized a BDSM Body Mod night about a year ago. He tells me someone asked to get their lips sewn shut that night and I am freaked out. I am co host so I will have to be in the room. The scene starts. Next thing I know I am glued right in front of Pat working and mesmerized by it completely, it was so cool. And that is the moment when I started toying with the idea that I wanted to do needle play.
Fast forward one year and now I ma ready to try it first hand. I even attend a saline infusion workshop I could attend for free out of curiosity. The only problem is I need someone to teach me in a supervised way at first. You don’t just pick up a needle and go at it without knowing what you are doing! Pat has been to busy even is willing. Now my sub protegee salem is in the medical field but I figured she would not be open to showing me. But after a random chat about it she offers to show me. YES! I have found my mentor. Within one week we have the scene planed and have a volunteer.
Sirena is the lucky victim for my initial piercing. She is such a masochist, loves play piercing and has played with me so trusts me. Here we are at a BDSM event, Sirena sitting on a medical table and I am seconds away from piercing someone for the first time in my life. I am afraid of freaking out and stopping half way and panicking. I take a deep breath and I go for it in one smooth push. OMG I did it, and it was like butter. I love it. I put in 6 more needles. Later that night Satanica, a mostly Domme switch, asks me to pierce her. She is used to piercing herself but has never trusted anyone to do it to her. I tell her clearly this is my first time. She said she observed me before and knows my play style and trusts me. This time I go for a circle with the only 7 needles we had. Not bad.
I swear I was flying in Domspace, I got such a rush from it. I am now an addict…to piercing others. And I may be less weary of needles coming towards me. I even allowed salem to put one on me that night. No one can say I never tried it. I am now hunting down anyone who will let me pierce them with a big grin.
Needed: medical gloves, a sterilizing whip, needles 22ga 1 1/2 long and a sharps container.
Of course I ran to the nearest medical supply shop and am got all I need to do some play piercing myself. I am so excited. I even got the stuff to do one saline infusion. I would love to do a scrotum (any male subs available and willing ???). I even did the ultimate fear factor challenge: once at home with my supplies I pierced myself once with great courage. See, even as the Dom/me BDSM can be used as a way of facing and overcoming our fears!

No pics of saline infusions yet but googling stuff on this practice brought me to this awesome lamp shaped like IV transfusions. Ideal for the hard core medical fetishist.
