Icicles #16 Vibrating Rabbit Glass Dildo

Introducing the Icicles No. 16 Vibrating Glass Rabbit, the first ever Vibrating Glass Rabbit! That is the catch line for this particular model of the new Icicles Glass Dildo series from Pipedream. I am not sure it the claim is 100% true but I don’t recall ever seeing anything like this before…and I see a lot of toys. There are vibrating glass dildos out there but none with rabbit ears per say. This feature definitely picked my curiosity.

 

This particular Icicles was sent to me by the wonderful folks at Tabutoys.com (for an honest review as always). And I mean wonderful, they may not be as big as other know online sex toys shops but they have a fabulous selection and are great when it comes to listening to the customer. No one is paying me to say this, I really mean it. And you may not believe it when you see reviewers saying our comments are honest…but they are. Proof: great concept of a toy but for me I really did not connect with it. I really think this particular model needs a lot of improvement. This however does not apply to the rest of the Icicle line which I love. But considering the Icicles No.16 is the first of it’s kind it will take a hit of critisism before it is perfected. It has lots of potential though.

 

 

The good points: Well it is glass….and that is awesome. I love glass dildos and I have never met a woman who does not like glass dildos. Glass is so smooth and sleek it just glides in and out of you with ease. I love the weight of it too when it is inside me and you can do temperature play with it. I also love the swirls that go around the shaft for added texture inside the vaginal walls.  The length and shape of the handle is very nice as well. The circle end is perfect for slipping a finger in, giving you amazing control as you use this toy. The bulb of the shaft is large and curved up making it ideal for g-spot stimulation.

 

 

The bad points: Now I know this is a hand blow glass toy so there will be some imperfections….but if I hold mine vertically and look at it’s front line it is beyond not straight. the head part complete turns left. Also the location of the rabbit ears is off center. That is really not calibrated enough.  For me I found I could not get a lot of penetration movement without hitting my pubic bone with the rabbit ears, I found it more effective with a very slight in and out movement of leave it in place. Now for the rabbit ears….they are way wide apart, like 1 inch. You might be able to nestle your clit in the V of the ears but you cannot get pin point vibration if that is your thing.  To correct this I would suggest a slightly longer shaft and bring the ears closer, like 1/4 inch apart.  Just fixing those teo point would be a HUGE improvement.

 

My biggest pet peeve is the pink paint job. My other glass toys have fused colored glass to the shaft when there are ridges. This one you can clearly see below has been painted on after…and in a very sloppy manner. To me a bad paint job makes this toy loose its luxurious and elegant status.

 

 

Now for the vibe part: Included is a basic (low quality) plastic bullet egg. Really I think Pipedream could use a better model then this one, they do have them. It uses 3 AAA batteries to operate. Now see the empty circle in the rabbit ears? That is where you insert the bullet egg…..completely but not without force. If you don’t get it in far enough it will vibe its way out. To hard and you could break the plastic. There are 10 functions of vibrating pleasure controlled by the remote.

 

I used it a couple of times and once I came very close to having a g-spot orgasm. It is far from perfect but just because I cam e close to the big wet O I totally thing it is worth a revamp. But overall it is just not for me as it stands right now. Maybe the Icicles No. 16 Vibrating Glass Rabbit will be perfect for you. If you can live without the vibes but want a great g-spot one go for the Icicles No. 18 G-Spotter. If vibrating glass is what you want to try then give the Don Wand Pink Glass Vibrator a shot.

The vibrator egg part can be washed with warm water and antibacterial soap, period. Any lube can be used with this glass dildo and you definitely will not need much of it. A small amount goes a long way since the texture is so smooth. Since it is a non-porous toy, it is very easy to clean. Just use hot water and soap. You can even put it in the dishwasher, or wipe it with a bleach solution, or boil it. But if you are to share in the same session, condoms are always the safe way to go.

 

The Icicles #16 comes in a nice tall cardboard white box that is not to discreet with a pic of the vibe on the box. Bit it is perfect for storage as the inside includes a bubble foam with cutouts made to the shape of the didlo. This is the safest way to keep it safe and clean. Also just to be safe when you store the toy make sure to remove the plastic vibe egg from the glass dildo, better be safe than sorry.
