Liquid Onyx Merry Widow Set

Included in the packaged box is a Merry Widow top and matching thong. Now I have heard the term Merry Widow for lingerie before but honestly I had no idea what it meant exactly. Wiki to the rescue:

A corselet was released by Warner's in 1955, named after The Merry Widow, a 1905 operetta that
has been adapted several times into feature-length films.This new design featured demi-cups and
a shorter girdle than its  predecessors. This type of lingerie is also known as a torsolette,
and is used in bridal lingerie, much like the bustier. The original merry widow was a corselet
incorporating slim panels of black, elastic yarn netting. A heavy-duty zipper was  inserted
behind a velvet-backed hook-and-eye flange, and the entire  garment was lined with nylon voile.
Nine long, spiral wires were encased in black satin.

 

 

The top and thong are made from 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex, making this material stretchable. Speaking of the material, the Liquid Onyx look refers to a shiny rubber black liquid-look. The Merry Widow features a double front keyhole, halter ties that go around the back of the neck, a back plastic clasp like a bra, and attached adjustable garters. The LG/XL model fist dress sizes 12-18. More specifically the measurements are: bust: 34-40″‘ and hips: 30-42″. The SM/MD size fits dress sizes 4-10. Cleaning instructions are as follow: hand wash in cold water only, then dry flat. Do not use bleach or an iron.

 

 

Now when this item was up for review it was specifically the LG\XL size. I knew I would probably not fit into it, by one size, but I had my fingers crossed. Alas although I could get it on I could not close the back closure and it just did not look right. But a friend came in to the rescue who was in that size range. She look really awesome in it and it fit her well. The top of the breast part can be slid on the cord for better adjustment. What we did notice however is this is not maybe the best outfit if you are large breasted as it will not cover all or cover at the right spot. Also after about 20 min of wear she felt a chaffing in the back of her neck from the halter ties…..again big heavy chest not helping.  The liquid look was quite realistic but it was not quite as shinny as the picture on the box, which I hope it would.

 

Overall if you plan on looking like a serious Domme but plan on getting out of the outfit not too long after putting it on, I would totally recommend getting the Liquid Onyx Merry Widow Set in size LG/XL. Her boyfriend/sex toy/pet certainly gave it a thumbs (and cock) up!
