Liberator Heart Wedge

Oh what treat I have for you today. I have a lovely limited edition piece of Liberator sex furniture. It is the third I own and they are all great additions to my top self collection. If you don’t know what Liberator is you have been living under a rock. This company makes and sells an array of top quality sex position aids with over 20 different shapes and 3 lines: original label, black label and shapes for toys. Today we will take a look at one of the newest shapes from the original label. Sit back and enjoy a description of the Liberator Heart Wedge in red.

This cushion’s main goal is pretty cool, to wedge you up, in a higher position. I have to admit when I first saw it my imagination ran out pretty fast of possible positions but after a bit of research there are a  lot of possibilities with this shape. This product is designed to be used mostly with a partner but you can use it too for solo play. It is very discreet as well so you can leave it out in plain view. Either leave it on your bed as a decorative pillow or use it to prop yourself up on the couch while lying down.

The Heart Wedge is made the same way as all Liberator shapes. The outer shell is made of a plush microfiber that feels like velvet. This shell is removable by way of a zipper found on the back. We’ll talk more about that later. The next shell under is made of a waterproof polyester that prevents liquids from leaking into the foam itself. This one is not removable. Finally we have the core of the shape, a high caliber, high-density polyurethane foam. It provides firm support and plush cushioning.

This particular Heart Wedge was sent to me by the wonderful folks at Babeland.com (for an honest review as always) and I was happy to receive the red but they also offer it in solid black. This piece of furniture measures 13″ in width x 19″ in length x 7″ in height on the top side and tapers to about 2″ in height on the pointy side.

So what can you do with it exactly? The shape, once positioned on it properly, you can achieve a deeper penetration, have much better access to the G-spot, makes oral sex much more accessible and comfortable for the giver, or for solo or a show you can really spread wide during masturbation. Simply lay down on your backside and place the pillow under your pelvis. For me it is a pillow saver as I always used my pillow to prop myself up. I loved using this shape instead which was much sturdier and did not sink in. And every movement in and out is definitely more pronounced.

How do you clean and store this toy? The microfiber cover easily zips off for cleaning and goes right into the washer and dryer. I have not needed to clean mine yet but I read the shell gets softer after every wash. The polyester cover can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild cleaner.  One major drawback to microfiber is that is is a dust, lint and pet hair magnet. Keeping a lint brush around is a good idea. The wedge arrived sealed inside a thick plastic bag. Considering the size I would not have expected fancy marketing on the packaging. Keep the bag for storage.

If you do not own a Liberator yet then I highly recommend you get the Liberator Heart Wedge. This particular piece is very reasonably priced compared to some larger pieces: a great opportunity to fall in love with these sex aids. It is a luxurious top quality product that holds its shape, does what it’s designed and will last for years. If you need a little spice in the bedroom this may just do the trick. Perhaps you should take up a little yoga to make sure you are flexible enough for all the new positions you will discover.
