Well it was quite a weekend, it had its high highs and its low lows for me.
Lets get the not so good out of the way first and then concentrate on the fun.

The worst: I had a booth for my FunseXXXtoys company at the merchant’s expo. The expo was a total FLOP. Only half the merchants even showed up first of all. I think my booth was THE worst placed in the whole place. The organizer’s said they expected around 3000 to 5000 visitors. I think we may have gotten 400 about. The result was 3 small sales. Yes for the entire 3 days. And it was the same for 80% of the vendors there. So most lost a lot of money or maybe broke even.It was badly thought out and lack of assistance too from the organizers during the expo. NOT HAPPY!

So I started the weekend’s event on Thu for a supposed Media 5 à 7 at the Just for Laughs Museum. I got all fixed up nice and kinky, rushed out of work, hoping to meet many performers, merchants, participants an, well, some media. Again, it was totally disorganized, barely anyone there….and no media. Those of us there were quite disappointed. Well at least this were the bad stuff ends, on to the good.

I did not go to Friday’s party but I did attend the one on Saturday at Bain Mathieu.The theme was Dark Fairy Tales. I was accompanied by my friend Angel and my sub anastasia. We did not get fixed up necessarily in theme but it still worked. anastasia was dressed like a little girl with a bright pink dress and pigtails while I was the Evyl Mistress dressed in a low cut PVC dress. Now she did spend half the night being punished but halfway through I told her to go ahead and have fun. Besides shmoozing, socializing and chatting with a bunch of new and old friends, we got to spend also some time with my Kinky Family: Jade Dragon, Lady Nicky, Sir Marc, toriko and jf (hope I did not forget anyone). For me the highlight of the evening was playing with jf, Jade Dragon’s pain slut sub. I showed my friends the flogger I had recently made: a very heavy leather (4-5oz if you are familiar with the stuff) on a big ball brass handle. Its very similar to one Jade has and was my inspiration. Well I knew the only person who could ever take a real flogging with this flogger would be jf. I asked permission and his eyes sparkled when I told him we would play. It was a lot of fun, most people would wince in pain and stop a scene immediately. He cringed a bit, then purr. It was a pleasure.

Now the best parts of the weekend was meeting two celebrities of the Fetish and BDSM world. And both I got to spend some quiet time with them. The first was Bondage Master Lew Rubens. And its kind of funny how I met him. A man was admiring something at my booth, a macrame bondage harness gadget I had made, and I walked over saying ‘I see you like what you see’. He turns around, we chatted a bit and he introduced himself as Lew. That is when the lightbuld went on in my head and I exclaimed ‘OMG your Lew as in Lew Rubens. Well I got to chat with him 3 times during the expo and he is just a lovely, modest, charismatic and lovely person.

And finally the best for last: a very late Sunday dinner in Chinatown with the kinky family and…Midori. Yep I got to have dinner with Midori.  That was beyond cool. This was for me the best part of the entire weekend. We had a blast and it was so much fun (and the food so good too). Midori was an absolute pleasure, beautiful, elegant, educated, funny and full of kinky stories I don’t think would be appropriate to divulge here at all lol. I will remember this dinner for a long time and look forward to some more again.
