I really went out on a personal ledge when I decided to pick this item to review for the ever fabulous Babeland company.

I chose a porn DVD called Crash Pad Series: Rope Burn, volume 4. Produced by Pink and White Productions, the Crash Pad Series specializes in queer sexual porn. The tag line reads: “Step into the steamy world of butches, bois, femmes, transfolk and more as you get a first hand look at what goes on behind the closed doors of the notorious hot bed of queer sex in The Crash Pad Series.”

As I have mentioned in he past I consider myself heteroflexible and I have played with women…a little very tiny bit sexualy…while in a bdsm scene.  I knew full well this was not going to be my sexual cup of tea but I was curious. Keep in mind my review is written from the hetero perspective.

The reason I did pick it is because this volume is ”the most searing and provocative scenes of bondage, delectable domination, and sweet submission“. I figured I could still relate. I also invited a bisexual switch female friend for the viewing. We were overall disappointed because it was not bdsm scenes per say…except for the last one and on some level the third.

The DVD consists of 5 separate sex scenes. I won’t go through all of them in detail, but the 1st did nothing for either of us, the 2nd was playful top and bottom and got my friend a bit hot, the 3rd was awful with a supposed Domme punishing her sub but is basically serving her sexually…again a dud for the 2 of us, scene 4 was kind of cool with a Femme toping a butch (did not see that coming, thought it would be the reverse) that was also a bit hot, and finally the 5th scene which was the BEST of all 5 because it really was bdsm…both of us enjoyed it a lot. All of the scenes happen in the Crash pad with occasional views of a ‘voyeur’ taping and watching.

Cons: it’s straight (pardon the pun) out porn with no nice chatty warm up…it felt like there was no foreplay for the viewer. I think the title is misleading because Rope Burn to me means lots of rope and bdsm, not the case. Hairy legs, hairy arm pits, hair pussies…sorry I am not used to that.

Neutral: I cannot comment on the actual sex as I know nothing of hard lesbian sex. Maybe its great for that. Lots of chest pounding with fists..neve saw that…might try it.

Pros: I like the fact that all the couples were obviously not new to one another…you could feel a chemistry between them. Gave me a new appreciation for the Feeldoe. I really liked scene 5 with Ex and Muscle Beach. There was nice shibari work, knife play, spit shining boots, ahstray objectification. Muscle Beach is too cute and is really hot when sucking on Ex’s ‘cock’.

I am giving it 3 out of 5 stars because maybe it is really hot for lesbians and I missed that. If there was more actual bdsm I would have given it a 4 out of 5. My word of caution to men: do not get this thinking you’ll get sweet girl-on-girl action cause you will be in for the shock of your life!.
