The Laya Spot has been making waves for a couple of years already and is considered at the top of the line of the newer modern sex toys, along with Lelo, Jimmyjane, the We-Vibe and the like. I was terribly excited when I saw it was up as a review option.
This toy is made in Germany by the fabulous Fun Factory company. All of their toys and extremely well made and pretty to look at. Unlike most of there toys though this one is made out of Elastomer and hard plastic…meaning it is porous and cannot be disinfected or shared safely with a partner. But the good new is it phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, soft, and durable. It comes in a wide variety of color combination. Mine is magenta and turquoise.

This massager is for clitoral stimulation only. Well sexually because its actually really convenient for a normal body massager. Great for kinks in the necks or shoulders. It operates on 2 AAA batteries that are installed easily. Its shape is ergonomically designed to fit nicely in the palm of your hand. It feels really nice to hold. You rest the massager on your pubic bone and the buttons can be easilly reached with your fingers. There is a + and – sign. There are 7 intensity levels and 3 vibration/pulsation patterns. Press the + to the top level to get to the vibration/pulsation patterns. They only work on the highest intensity. To turn off hold the – button. You know its off when the light goes off completely. Finally it is splashproof (not waterproof) and can be used during intercourse.

My personal experience with the Laya Spot: I have read a lot of reviews saying it was not strong vibration wise. I disagree I think for its size and 2 AAA batteries it has plenty of power. It is a bit louder then I had expected. The manual says the strongest vibes are felt in the under arch made with hard plastic. I found the strongest sensations came from the bottom of the tip. I am a big woman too and I found the arch was too pronouced for someone with a thicker layer of flesh: the underarch did not make full contact on my clit. But the fun part is that you can play around with the placement.

I wish I could be as delighted as like 85% of the reviews out there, I just don’t think it is really designed for me. I need very controlable specific location placement to achieve a clitoral stimulation orgasm. The rounded edge did not permit me to place the vibe in a special orgasmic point. But it is totally awesome still overall. It definitely got the juices flowing. If you can come with random clit touching then this is a fabulous vibe for you.
