Right now I am also hooked, no, OBSESSED with the song Bad Romance. I can listen to it in a constant loop all day! Now ever since she has hit the scene its been very obvious there are fetish and kinky connotations with her, but have you seen the lyrics and the video to Bad Romance? They are screaming of BDSM.

So a week ago I wrote a major rant post on a horrible online date I had last Sunday, and the bad luck of jerks or social aptitude challenged guys I came across lately.

Well this morning I watched (well still watching) a great independent movie about online dating. It received rave reviews). Its called In Search of a Midnight Kiss. Here is the plot:

The film follows the plight of Wilson a 29-year-old man who has just suffered through the most miserable year of his life. A new arrival to the City of Angels, Wilson ends up alone and penniless as New Year’s Eve rapidly approaches, and avows to lock his doors, pull his blinds, and climb into bed – until best friend Jacob talks him into posting a Craigslist personal ad. In seemingly no time at all, the message leads Wilson to Vivian a young woman who is determined to be with the “right” man at the stroke of midnight.

I kind of relate to a lot of parts in this movie. There meeting is seriously unusual and they start just walking around the city and talking….on Dec 31st. they go through good times, vad times…and conversations where both just say the worst things in the male interpretation of wmen and women interpretation of man…a lot like I have expereinced lately. Within a movie contest it kind of makes me reflect on both sides of the coin.

There is still about 20 min left to the end of the movie…but I am guessing it will have a happier ending then my last encounters lol. Yet, still, it is giving me a bit of hope that has been recently tarnished.
