I don’t want to rain on your parade, but do you know that you’re in full violation of the 2257 federal proof of age laws? I see you are in Canada, and I don’t know how that affects things, but most foreign producers I see have the 2257 information. It’s a ridiculous law with harsh penalties. And you know how my government likes to try to apply its laws all over the world.
You have to have a notice on each page including the name and physical address of the custodian of records who has proof of age on file. I had to research this before starting my site. There’s nothing about what you’re doing that would exempt you. Whether you yourself take the pictures or not (you are hosting them), whether the people in them are 18 or 80, whether they are engaged in actual sex acts or just sexually suggestive things (and yours most certainly qualifies as sexual), whether the pictures are the main point of your business or just advertising, whether you sell them or not, etc., etc., you absolutely must keep the records in the proper form with the proper notice or you are committing a felony that carries up to 5 years in prison or $100K in fines. Right now you’re just sitting out there obviously violating the law. And this law is separate from whether someone actually produces child porn. That is a separate offense. It doesn’t matter at all if you can prove after the fact that the people are over 18, or even that they are obviously over 18. This law is about record keeping, and they can and do prosecute even technical violations of the law. Each picture you have up without proper proof is a separate felony. I have a law degree and even hired an attorney who practices adult law to consult, and I can assure you I know all of this very well. I don’t want to rain on your parade, but you really should know the risk you may be taking.
